Add Page Numbers to PDF
Add page numbers to every PDF page or a selected range.
Choose one supported file, or drop it here.
How it works
Choose the supported file, configure any options shown for this job, run the tool, then download the generated result. Formatberry does not require an account.
Add visible page numbers to a PDF
Add Page Numbers to PDF creates a new PDF with visible numbering added to the document pages. Set the starting number, run the tool and review the result before sharing it. This is useful when a PDF needs a readable page sequence for references, handouts, reports or review comments without converting the document to another format.
Visible numbering is different from PDF page labels
The tool adds page-number content to the document rather than changing a viewer's hidden page-label metadata or renaming the source file. If the page sequence itself is wrong, use Rearrange PDF Pages first. If unwanted pages should be removed, use Delete PDF Pages.
Page numbering stays on your device
The operation is designed to run locally in the browser with the PDF engine used by this route, so the selected file is not uploaded for this job. Download the numbered copy and check the visible sequence against the pages you intend to distribute.
Processing and privacy
This tool is designed to process document data inside the browser. Its certified network behavior is intended to keep file bytes and derived document content on your device.
