How it works

Choose the supported file, configure any options shown for this job, run the tool, then download the generated result. Formatberry does not require an account.

Crop the visible area of PDF pages

Crop PDF changes the visible crop box of the document pages using top, right, bottom and left margins measured in points. It is useful for hiding unwanted margins, scanner borders or other outer page areas while keeping the file as a PDF. Cropping changes what the page viewer displays; it does not rasterize the page into an image.

PDF cropping is not redaction

Do not use cropping to remove confidential or sensitive information. Content outside the visible crop box can remain part of the PDF even when it is no longer shown in the normal page view. Cropping is therefore not guaranteed content deletion or secure redaction. To remove complete pages instead, use Delete PDF Pages.

Crop PDF stays on your device

The crop operation is designed to run locally in the browser, so the selected PDF is not uploaded for this job. Choose the file, set the page margins, create the cropped PDF and review the visible boundaries before using the result.

Processing and privacy

This tool is designed to process document data inside the browser. Its certified network behavior is intended to keep file bytes and derived document content on your device.
