How it works

Choose the supported file, configure any options shown for this job, run the tool, then download the generated result. Formatberry does not require an account.

Add a visual signature to a PDF

Sign PDF lets you place a typed or drawn signature appearance on a PDF page. This is useful when a workflow requires a visible signature mark on the document. The tool is focused on placing that visual signature into the PDF rather than creating a separate signing account or routing the document through an e-signature platform.

Visual signature is not the same as a digital certificate signature

This tool does not create a certificate-based cryptographic digital signature, validate identity, provide a certificate chain or guarantee legal enforceability for a particular jurisdiction or transaction. If a recipient specifically requires a certificate-backed digital signature, identity verification or an audit-trail e-signature workflow, use a service designed for those requirements.

Sign PDF processing stays in the browser

The signing operation is designed to run on your device, so the selected PDF is not uploaded for this job. If you also need to complete interactive form fields before adding the visual signature, use Fill PDF as the separate form-filling step.

Processing and privacy

This tool is designed to process document data inside the browser. Its certified network behavior is intended to keep file bytes and derived document content on your device.
