How it works
Choose the supported file, configure any options shown for this job, run the tool, then download the generated result. Formatberry does not require an account.
Convert Excel workbooks to PDF
Excel to PDF accepts supported XLS and XLSX workbooks and renders them through an isolated office conversion engine. The PDF reflects how the workbook is interpreted for document output, so worksheet layout, print settings, page breaks, fonts and other spreadsheet formatting can affect the final pages.
What to check after Excel to PDF conversion
Review wide sheets, unusual fonts, charts and print areas after conversion because spreadsheet layouts can span pages differently from the interactive Excel view. Formatberry converts the workbook; it does not redesign the spreadsheet or promise that every workbook-specific feature will reproduce identically.
Prepare the workbook before conversion
For predictable output, review the workbook's print area, page orientation, scaling and page breaks before conversion. Those layout choices can change how wide worksheets are distributed across PDF pages, so the source workbook remains the best place to adjust them.
Excel to PDF privacy and the reverse workflow
This conversion is server-assisted and the selected workbook is handled ephemerally by the isolated conversion service. If you need to go the other direction, PDF to Excel extracts detected PDF tables into XLSX; it is not a lossless round trip back to the original workbook.
Processing and privacy
This tool is server-assisted because its certified engine runs in an isolated conversion service. The selected file is transferred only for the conversion and is handled ephemerally under the production retention, sandboxing and logging controls.
